Hi, I am Cara. I’ve been teaching kiddos since 2004. I have taught one year in 5th and have been in Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms ever since. I have four children of my own that keep me on my toes. I am so excited to have this opportunity to share some of my classroom experiences and fun with you here in our own little teaching paradise! Hi, I am Hayley from LOL-Loving Our Learning. I have a passion for teaching and
learning! For the past 23 years, I have
been teaching in the classroom or working alongside teachers. I currently am blessed to spend my days with
teachers and students in Pre-K through 5th grade. My best experience, however, may come from
being a mom to four children. I have a
mom’s perspective from kindergarten age through college! I enjoy creating products that can be used in
the classrooms I am in each day and also shared with others. At the end of a long day, I have no willpower
to fend off dark chocolate with sea salt!

I have been teaching for over 10 years and have been in K-5th grade classrooms. Each experience has made me a better teacher and love teaching more and more. I am high energy and could not imagine doing anything else with my days.
I have an encouraging husband and 2 amazing little boys. We enjoy living so close to the beach and driving with the windows down. My little guy says, "Mom this is the good life!"
I make sure to be thankful for each day and always think of a positive in any situation.

After all these years, teaching and sharing the love of reading with students, still fills me with excitement. I believe that children learn best in classrooms that are highly engaging and designed around cooperative learning. I have experience in all of the elementary grades but have spent the majority of my time teaching in the upper grades.
Away from school, I enjoy time with family and friends. Five beautiful grandchildren are the sunshine in my life!
